Why this two? I had considered the possibility of this pairing ever since I have watched the series. Even though I'm a die-hard 1x2 fan (and still am) this pairing had always been at the back of my mind. On to my reason.

Okay, so we all know (I'm assuming) that Heero is aloof, I'm not saying he's an emotional retard because he isn't. He prefers to work alone, and besides the other pilots and some allies, rare does he actually interacts with anyone, and I noticed that he actually interacted more with Zechs than with anyone on the series (save for Relena and Duo). I know that their interaction is more on the negative side rather than the love side *sweatdrop* but what I would like to say is that their constant fights actually made them understand each other more, after all keep your enemy closer right?
